WELCOME

Welcome to Molino Viejo. Tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Almería near Serón, this historic, water-powered flour mill has been a labour of love since I bought it in 2003. Blending rustic charm with modern comfort, the property was created as the ultimate sanctuary for health, fitness and relaxation.

Designed to be your private home away from home, the mill provides the perfect backdrop to disconnect, recharge and refocus. Whether you are here for a group retreat, an active holiday or simply the peace and quiet of the Spanish landscape, it is my hope that your time with us will be deeply restorative and everlasting.

Carmen

Housekeeper

Carmen lives in the nearby village, a walking distance from the Old Spanish Mill, with her husband and twins. Having lived in the region all her life, she is a wealth of knowledge about the local area and is a real asset to our team. When she is not busy looking after the Mill, she loves nothing more than to be out in the surrounding countryside on the trails.

Property Maintenance

Steve improves, updates and maintains the Old Spanish Mill and its facilities on a permanent basis, as we endeavour to provide the best possible level of service, accommodation and comfort for our guests at all times. Steve moved to Andalusia after living in France for over 12 years where he worked as a stone surface renovation specialist in the yachting industry. He therefore has an eye for detail and takes pride in the quality of the work he achieves maintaining the property.
